Born to the Get of Fenris, and saved from untimely death in The Pit from the Bone Gnawers, Ambrose grew up in poverty, finding solace in what few things he could do without things like income and social skills among humans. As a child, this meant listening to stories, living through the library (if never physically at it) and spending what time he could with the wolf tribe in the open. Ambrose craved knowledge, kept away from human society as he was, and what could be learned of it he did; while he found it in books and stories, his insatiable curiosity was a constant. This would influence the rest of his life, as he was forever a student, spending his limited free time wherever he could gain knowledge. Disguised as a human he went to libraries and seminars, when not, he studied from elders. Now, he is the brains of the pack, and one who can be heard despite being a Metis.
